Experience
I have tutored 4 girls in college algebra, working with them to better understand the material. I helped reword some of the information to help make concepts clearer. After I graduate from WOU with a BS in Mathematics, I plan on attending the University of Washington for my Masters in Teaching. My dream is to teach high school Math and I feel that tutoring now will help develop my teaching skills. The list of math courses that I have completed thus far is: College Algebra, Calculus I, II, III (sequences and series), IV(multivariate), Introduction to Proofs, Probability, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Axiomatic Geometry, Mathematical Modeling, Number Theory, Group Theory (Abstract algebras with Groups), and Ring Theory (Abstract Algebra with Rings). I organized and ran a Donation Station with Savers (Value Village) in High School. I was able to fill a 15ft trailer with slightly used goods for my DECA project. My project won the "Most Community Involvement" in the State of Washington for 2007.
